I got a flyer awhile back for an NY event called Cine Meccanica and I was surprised to see it's still going on. Basically every tuesday night @ Otto's Shrunken Head in the city they are showing campy motorcycle or auto related flics. Looks like a good time.

Cycle world posted this video of them riding a KTM 690 SMC in a manner it was originally intended for. Then they crashed it, slowed down the footage and replayed it 20 times. Lucky for us the rest of the riding is even more entertaining than the trip over the bars.

Cafe Racer TV

We recently got word from Mike Seate at Cafe Racer Magazine that his new Cafe TV program will be starting on Discovery HD on October 13th. Also this link just popped up on you tube advertising the program. After attending the viewing party for his Cafe Racer documentary last year we'll be excited to see how this goes.

NYC MFers

I don't know how long this has been out for but I just recently stumbled upon a video made by New York City Motorcycle Federation and Marcus K. Jones. With obvious hints to mad max, animal furs and motorcycle gear are being used as the clothing for post-apocalyptic street gangs hell bent to stare at each other really meanly? Overall I really enjoy this sort of low brow/high fashion, but would love to see it go somewhere. Preferably somewhere that motorcycles are actually involved.

Mad Max 4!

Yup, it's the return of Mad Max. Turns out they are shooting two sequels in Australia right now. Not sure when they will be released, but there will be no Mel Gibson this time around. As far as I know Tina Turner was not asked to come back either.

Guy Martin

Luckily Guy Martin is recovering well from his 180mph crash at the TT and plans to be racing again in a few weeks. In the mean time i've been watching a bunch of old videos and interviews with him on You tube. I can't tell if its his accent or what he says, or just the general goofiness of these segments but they are all quite amusing.

Sands of time

In the wake of chopper builders that rose and died few are still making headlines. Roland Sands Design manages to churn out new and fresh builds that can keep us hooked. Maybe being an X-racer he has more passion for bikes than the average garage monkey looking to cash in. Either way the videos they have recently released just look like a ton of fun.
