CW meets CCW

Flipping through this month's Cycle World Magazine I was surprised to find a nice big 3 page article on the new Heist by Cleveland Cycle Werks. These small 250cc bikes having been getting a fair bit of internet attention but I was surprised to see a major magazine actually giving them some good press. Looking forward to the forthcoming misfit model and at 3 grand these will be a great entry level or commuter bike. Full article available here.

September in January

After viewing the Riding September video over on Pipeburn I continued to the blog to check out what else they had and found this video. A little well shot origins of Blitz, very cool.

NYC Moto show

The International motorcycle show is going down in NYC again this year on January 21-23. It will be held at the Javitz center like last year and features full model lineups from all the major manufactures as well as vendors and specialty booths. It's not WDW but what else are you gonna do in this snow?

Italian Monkee

Monkee number 20 has been revealed and turns out to be a Ducati this time. If I haven't mentioned it ten times before I'm a huge fan of WrenchMonkees. Their latest build started out as a early 90's 750SS and is stunning.  Check it out.

NYC MFers

I don't know how long this has been out for but I just recently stumbled upon a video made by New York City Motorcycle Federation and Marcus K. Jones. With obvious hints to mad max, animal furs and motorcycle gear are being used as the clothing for post-apocalyptic street gangs hell bent to stare at each other really meanly? Overall I really enjoy this sort of low brow/high fashion, but would love to see it go somewhere. Preferably somewhere that motorcycles are actually involved.
