Just Because

I'd love to credit the Camera man but couldn't find a name

Nikkisaki

Awhile back Sideburn Magazine did an article called Nikkisaki. It's rare to come across a cool girl that rides and has an equally stylish machine. Check out her and her KZ400. Nikki at Sideburn

Girls on bikes.

I've seen enough photos of bikini clad girls on V-twins that it doesn't appeal to me anymore. So it's always cool when a photographer does an especially nice shoot of girls on bikes and even more so when it's the model's own bike. Here's a nice set from Scott Pommier that I stole from sexsavageonwheels.com. Enjoy.

Outlaw Photography

As any enthusiast knows there are thousands of motorcycle pictures available online just by doing a quick search, yet few can hold interest for more than a few seconds a piece. Then there is the "bike riders" by Danny Lyon. Rather than showing up and snapping a few pics of a club he actually became a member of the Chicago outlaws and rode with them for years to create this work. This small collection of photos has always stunned me. The book is now out in it's 3rd edition.

Monkees

I'm going to start this blog off by highlighting my favorite custom bike shop Wrenchmonkees from Copenhagen. They start off with common inexpensive bikes and build them with just the right blend of style and performance that the chromed out crowd can't seem to comprehend. A testament to taste over trends. Also the photography is drool worthy.
